Ellenroad Steam Museum

The Ellenroad Steam Museum, located near Rochdale, has a number of interesting exhibits, but the highlight is world's largest working steam mill engine, which powered the mill here until 1975. The mill was demolished in 1985 but the engine and enginehouse were saved, and this magnificent machine is steamed once a month.
